As the President, Chief Executive Officer of Five 9 Group, Magdy co-founded the company and instilled an employee centric corporate culture, as well as led efforts to be a trusted advisor and partner to customers. Magdy has over twenty five years of experience developing and managing highly critical and sensitive data and business intelligence systems for the United States government. He has led large integration projects, strategic planning, schedule control, earned value techniques, software implementations, data center operation support, and disaster recovery planning. Magdy has a proven track-record building and motivating diverse work-force teams in professionally challenging situations.Magdy has a BA in Accounting and Management from the University of Ain Shams and a BA in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) has an Oracle Database Administrator Certified Masters and certified in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL V3).

As the co-Chief Executive Officer of Five 9 Group, Bill co- founded the company and has instilled a culture of innovation and commitment to employees’ continuous learning and development. Bill has twenty five years of experience leading IT efforts in the public and private sector. He is a leading expert in Unix systems, Oracle databases, and database programming. He has worked at Sprint, Atlantic Research Corporation, and consulted for the Office of Naval Intelligence, the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS – now the Department of Homeland Security), Omnipoint (now part of T-Mobile and France Telecom) and Strayer University. His contributions include developing custom code for industry leaders including Capital Care (D.C. Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO branch) and Academic software company Datatel.Bill has a BS from Strayer University in Data Processing Management and has served as a faculty member teaching computer programming and has studied Chemistry for four years at George Mason University.
Chief Administrative Officer
As Five 9 Group’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Alicia contributes to cost analysis, forecasting, and pricing as well as overseeing cash management, financial reporting and payroll/HR. Her expertise includes all aspects of general accounting and financial operations, including corporate tax preparation and contracts administration. She specializes in inventory/asset management, cash flow forecasting, financial modeling, and budgeting. She earned a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia. Additionally, Alicia holds the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
Chief Technology Officer
As the Chief Technology Officer, Assad is responsible for leading the development and deployment of new technologies and solutions at Five 9 Group, Inc. Assad brings over 30 years of experience leading and managing all aspects of system and software development, with emphasis on applying agile methodologies and DevOps practices to delivering highly-available, scalable, distributed systems. He has an extensive background in strategic technical planning, advisory, consulting and solution delivery as well as managing R&D and product development. Throughout his career, Assad has been responsible for establishing and institutionalizing Agile/SCRUM and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices in variety of environments for various customers.
Assad is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Virginia Tech where his research is focusing on combining Machine Learning and computer security to develop secondary user authentication methods.
Project Manager, Census Bureau
As the Senior Project Manager at Five 9 Group on the Census Bureau project, Ahmed is an expert in project management. He has extensive experience in guiding strategic planning for data center infrastructure/migration projects, applications deployment, and proposing solutions for major problems impacting business mission and operations. His support to large federal data centers, infrastructure, and applications is seen as key for success by the customer and technical teams. His expertise includes IT processes design and improvement, deployment and support of the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) applications, Middleware deployment/support, database administration, data center infrastructure, applications and software development/test/deployment through all phases of SDLC Waterfall and Agile methodologies, and data center migration planning and execution. Ahmed has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University, a MS in Electrical Engineering from Minia University, as well as a MS in Technology Management from George Mason University. Additionally, he has extensive certifications to include Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Institute-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
