The Interaction Design Group (IxDG)

"The Interaction Design Group (IxDG) is an international community of people who are practicing, teaching, and studying interaction design. Our organization’s goals are to:
• promote awareness of the discipline, craft, and value of interaction design among businesses, academia, consumers, and our colleagues
• advance the discipline of interaction design through innovation
• encourage high standards of practice among interaction designers
• establish standards for academic programs in interaction design
• develop a close-knit community of interaction design professionals who face similar challenges in their work and can assist one another in their development
• provide a forum for the discussion of interaction design"
