Information Architecture Summit '04

Breaking New Ground (February 27-29, 2004 - Austin, Texas USA)
In organizations across the globe, Information Architecture (IA) is recognized as an emerging discipline and a key player in web, multimedia, software, and even product design. IA has grown over the past five years. However, there's still a great deal of lively and significant work ahead. Individually and together, we continue to develop the field, educate coworkers and clients, introduce newcomers to IA, and expand the reach of IA into appropriate new arenas. This year's IA Summit focuses on two domains -- strengthening the foundation of the discipline, and widening the scope of IA practice.
